Finding a good place to stay in Alishan Township is tough, as options are limited and generally not great. My hotel was just inside the park, which was convenient for exploring the nature trails. Unfortunately, the room was cold until evening, cleanliness was an issue, and breakfast was quite a trek away. While I appreciated the high price point of staying inside the park, the overall experience was unpleasant, and I wouldn't choose this hotel again.

Staying at Wun Sun Hotel was a mixed experience. While it’s conveniently located right in the Alishan National Forest Park, the service left much to be desired. The room was okay, but the lack of daily cleaning and cramped staircase access made it less appealing. Breakfast was included but not very convenient as it was quite a hike away. Overall, it felt overpriced for what was offered, even considering the beautiful surroundings.

The room was okay in size with a wooden floor, but it lacked a shower curtain, making the bathroom wet after use. The towels provided were barely enough, and the absence of daily cleaning was disappointing.

Service was not ideal as there was no daily cleaning or turn-down service, and we had to carry our luggage up several flights of stairs with no elevators available.

The location is excellent, right inside Alishan National Forest Park, and just a 10-minute walk to the nature trails. It makes for easy access to the beautiful nature in the area.
